Honda Marine Extends True 5 Warranty to Full Product Line
In the wake of securing consecutive recognitions for excellence in customer satisfaction from J.D. Power and the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) during the past three years, Honda Marine extends its industry-first True 5 -year limited warranty to 40 through 225 horsepower (hp) outboards purchased through participating dealers between April 1, 2007 and March 31, 2008. In addition, effective May 1, True 5 will be offered on 2 through 30hp models purchased between May 1, 2007 and March 31, 2008. The move to include these models extends Honda Marine's True 5 warranty to its entire product line.
As with all Honda Marine warranty programs, True 5 offers full Honda backing in comparison to the outsourced, extended service contracts typically provided by other manufacturers. Coverage under the program is the same on the last day as it is on the first.
"With three consecutive recognitions from J.D. Power and the NMMA for outstanding customer service, extending True 5 to include our full range of reliable, fuel-efficient outboards affords Honda Marine customers an unparalleled level of award-winning dealer support," said John Fulcher, senior manager, Honda Marine. "With full Honda backing and non-declining coverage, True 5 keeps Honda Marine customers where they want to be - on the water."
Synonymous with a proud legacy of innovation and leadership, Honda Marine has remained at the forefront of 4-stroke outboard performance, technology and quality for more than 40 years, working to continually change the shape of the marine industry.
