Honda and Keep America Beautiful Team for Great American Cleanup

Keep America Beautiful's Great American Cleanup, the nation's largest community improvement program, takes place annually from March 1 through May 31 and attracts more than 3 million volunteers to clean up and improve over 17,000 communities across America.

As part of the program, American Honda's Road to a Cleaner America initiative pairs Honda dealers across the country with thousands of volunteers to clean and beautify the nation's streets, roads and highways. Last year, nearly 170 Honda dealers participated in the Great American Cleanup program.

Through the Road to a Cleaner America program, American Honda awards grants to the three Great American Cleanup organizations that collect the most pounds of litter and debris; clean up the most miles of streets, roads and highways; and recruit the largest number of volunteers per capita. Winners will be notified in October and presented their awards in December at the Keep America Beautiful National Conference in Washington, D.C.

In addition, American Honda has launched the annual Road to a Cleaner America sweepstakes, in which participants can enter to win an all-new 2008 Civic Hybrid. Sweepstakes rules, volunteer opportunities and additional information on American Honda's involvement with Keep America Beautiful's Great American Cleanup program are available at http://www.HondaCleanup.com.
