Mike Zindars is the plant lead of the Marysville Auto Plant (MAP) of Honda Development & Manufacturing of America, LLC (HDMA), overseeing all operations at MAP, as well as the operations of the Performance Manufacturing Center (PMC). Both plants are at the forefront of the company's global goal to have 100% of global sales be battery electric and fuel cell electric vehicles by 2040.

Zindars joined Honda in 1993 as an engineer in the Market Quality Department at the Marysville Auto Plant where he worked as a chassis analysis engineer.

In 1996, he was promoted to lead coordinator within Market Quality, overseeing analysis of braking, steering and suspension systems.

In 1999, Zindars moved to the Honda of America Mfg. Product Engineering Test Department within the Auto Quality Division and was promoted to unit manager of the Durability Group. In this role, he was responsible for new model verification testing, as well as chassis function and vehicle durability testing.

In 2006, he returned to the Market Quality Department as department manager, responsible for all vehicle quality analysis conducted in the plant.

In 2015, Zindars became the associate chief engineer over the North American Market Quality Department where he was responsible for all vehicle frame and powertrain categories for North America. In this role, Zindars led the proposal for the creation of the Honda North American Quality Center in Raymond, Ohio.

In 2022, Zindars was named business unit lead of Manufacturing Quality, where his responsibilities included overseeing all quality aspects of new model development, as well as product engineering operations for Honda manufacturing operations in Ohio, Indiana and Alabama.

In 2023, he was promoted to vice president of the Manufacturing Quality Business Unit.

In April 2024, Zindars assumed his current role, leading MAP, which is key part of the Honda EV Hub in Ohio, in preparation for the startup of Honda EV production in North America, as well as the PMC.

Zindars holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin located in Madison, Wisconsin.
